Ambassador Dr. Tolulope Monisola Ola is a distinguished public health advocate, researcher, educator, and global peace ambassador dedicated to advancing health equity, cultural healing, and social justice on a global scale.
She is the Founder and Executive Director of Restoration for All, Inc. (REFA), a Minnesota-based nonprofit that delivers culturally responsive mental health, wellness, and immigrant support programs. With a Ph.D. in Population Studies, dual Master’s degrees in Public Health and Medical Sociology, and a Master’s in Adlerian Counseling & Psychotherapy, Dr. Ola brings over two decades of international experience in program design, research, and community engagement across Nigeria, Italy, and the United States. Her leadership has been recognized through numerous honors, including the Damus Board Award for Excellence in Fostering Mental Health Equity (2024), the Ramsey County Vern Vick Memorial Award (2023), and the Lifetime Leadership Award at the National African Leadership Conference (2022). She also serves as co-convener of the African Mental Health Summit, a platform that has brought together policymakers, researchers, and community leaders for over a decade to elevate African immigrant and refugee voices in mental health and wellness.
An award-winning author of The Power to Become (2019) and Winning with Culture (2020), Dr. Ola embodies resilience, compassion, and visionary leadership. Through her work, she continues to foster global collaboration, drive systemic change, and empower vulnerable communities to thrive.
